When Jan Murphy got married and started a family as a young woman, she had no vision of the acclaimed artist she would become. With an innate desire to learn and help others, she eventually enrolled in college, aspiring to become a psychologist. However, it was with a painting class that she soon discovered her true passion, ART! Eager to pursue her creativity, she shifted her focus and became as an instructor with the Robert Garden Art School, which launched her creative career.
Jan maintained her entrepreneurial spirit by opening her own art studio and coffee shop “Created for You” in her hometown of Canton, Ohio. She is now living in Stuart, Florida, where she shares her craft through her art classes. Her first book “Color Wheel – The Secret to Understanding Color” is now available to help artists from beginner to novice.
